Curly hair makes a comeback at ‘London Fashion Week’!

Ladies, put down your straighteners because this season curly girls are taking centre stage at London Fashion Week…

London Fashion Week isn’t just about designers showcasing their latest collections, we look for new hair trends that we think are going to be huge this year. Hairstylist Orlando Pita who has created many of the looks backstage says… “We’re leaving a lot of the curly haired girls’ hair natural this season because it’s all about uniqueness and embracing their natural curl”.

Here we have some insider tips and secrets from the novo team to help you achieve that just-from-the-salon curl and no appointment necessary. Diffusers at the ready… here’s how to perfect the look:

1. Wet hair thoroughly.

2. Run one pump of ‘Moroccan Oil Light’ through mid-lengths and ends.

3. Run 5 pence piece size ‘Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Cream’ firmly through mid-lengths and ends.

4. Turn head upside down and scrunch some more ‘Defining Cream’ through mid-lengths and ends.

5. Place diffuser attachment on to hair dryer and ensure hair dryer is on medium heat/medium air flow.

6. Keep hair dryer in the same place (from the ends up to the roots) for at least 20 seconds to allow the curl to develop.

7. Finish with serum for shine and a good helping of hairspray for hold!
